Selecting a Monument or Marker is something you may do only once in your lifetime. It will be a meaningful tribute that will last through the ages to commemorate the life of someone very special. This momorial may well serve as a source of historical data for future generations of your family. Monuments and Markers Upright monuments come in a wide variety of styles, shapes and sizes, and can be engraved on the back. The horizontal tablet is wider than it is high and is usually set on a base. Added features may include side panels called "wings", and sometimes vases at one or both sides. The vertical tablet is sometimes used to identify family burial plots. Slant markers are midway in height between the lower bevel markers and the larger upright monuments. They offer sufficient space for highly creative personalized design, and can also be engraved on the back. Flat markers lie flat to the ground. Due to their small size, the amount of engraving is limited. Bevel markers are low, but not flat. They come in single or double sizes and can be personalized with symbols or inscriptions.
